Overview of one of the most recognizable painters of the 1960s. Most of this book seems focused on Maxx's later work, which is less cartoonish and more abstract. I didn't really see too many of his psychedelic posters in here, the painting he did of Mick Jagger is in there, but not much music related design work at all. Nice color representations throughout, most of them full page or multi-paged. There's also a timeline at the end of the book and a biography that spans several pages at the beginning of the book as well.
