The first collection of Australian rock posters in book form that I am aware of. Excellent color reproduction. Posters go all the way back to the 1950s, but the last 30 years are better represented. The sixties seemed to have very little of the psychedelic movement influence. A nice little surprise is that the seventies posters are far more interesting than anything that was released in the US and UK during the same time frame. The seventies appeared to still have a lot of hand drawn and offset printed posters with very little of the band photo or album cover style posters for promoting used elsewhere. This is an Australian book, so if you can find it stateside for a reasonable price I recommend moving to grab it quickly. Lots of full page reproduction and several essays about each various era. There are also sections to focus on well known designers in each era. Excellent book. The cover shown here is the softcover, there is also a hardcover edition available.
